Tiny Little Invitations and Birthday Favors

Sorry I've been gone so long.  I have no good excuse, so I won't try to make one up.  :)

I have been working on my DD's birthday stuff.  She wanted some tiny little invitations that her friends could stick in a jeans pocket and this is what I came up with.  She chose the Pretty In Pink and Tempting Turquoise for colors.  We went with white as a neutral just so the colors would pop more.
Here are the favors I made.  I think they are adorable!  I started with the Soap Holder that I found here.  I did  change it up a bit.  Made it a tad taller and made 2 smaller holes for test tubes.  I cut card stock at 6" x 1 1/2 " out of Whisper White and 10" x 3" out of Tempting Turquoise and Pretty In Pink.  Score the white piece along the long side at 1/4" and 1 1/4" and along the short side at 1/2", 1 1/2", 4 1/2", and 5 1/2".   Cut the narrow tabs off along the long side up to the second score line on each corner.  Punch 2 holes with the 3/4" circle punch.  Score the large piece at 1", 2", 6", 7".  Here is my next modification.  Score the
long "flap" at 1 1/2" to the second score line and cut one side off so it will hold a longer test tube.  Assemble your box and decorate as desired.  I used I {heart} Hearts and Punch Potpourri along with the Full Heart Punch and the Boho Blossoms punch.  I filled my test tubes with Sweet Tarts and Nerds.

That's about it for today.  Come visit again soon and leave me some love (comments) cuz I love to hear from you.  Remember, if I can stamp, you can ,too!
