Super Sweet Project

Hi Stampers!  Hope you have been doing well.  I have been busy at home, at work, and stamping/creating.  Today's project is a real treat.  I got the recipe from my upline Connie Stewart.  I was also inspired by her adornment of the projects.  You can see hers here.

Edited to let you know the recipe for the sugar scrub can be found on Connie's blog with the link above.

Here is my version of this wonderful Sugar Scrub.  I found some great 8 ounce Mason jars that are short and wide.  They are also wide mouthed so you can get your hand into them.  I thought they would be the prefect jars for sugar scrub.  I have some of the retired Stampin' Up! fabric called Vintage Springtime and it worked perfectly with the look I was after.

I am whipping these up to take to a craft fair, and for Christmas gifts for the females in my family and at the office!  Don't you think they are adorable?!?  Ok!  Until next time, remember, if I can stamp, you can, too!!!  And create great gifts!!!

New Blog Header

Check it out stampers!  I finally updated my blog header.  It was fun to design.  I used the Stampin' Up! digital project designer My Digital Studio 2.  It has some really great new features.  I didn't really use any here.  I like to keep things pretty simple most of the time.  What I really like is you can use as many of an embellishment as you like and NEVER RUN OUT!!!

Well, that's it for today.  I promise to have new projects to share soon.  I'm working on some great gift ideas.  Until next time, remember, if I can stamp, you can, too!

Spooky Sponging (or September class)

Hi, Stampers!  What do you think of this cute little trio of projects?  Can you see what they all have in common?  That's right!  Sponging!!  I had a lot of fun thinking up the projects for my September class.  I guess you can tell it is Halloween themed.  And the technique focus this month is sponging.

Each of the projects has been sponged on the edges, the surface, or both.  It adds so much texture and depth to your projects and is quite simple. And so much fun!!!

If you'd be interested in making these three projects and having some fun with ink and sponges, join me for a class on Sunday afternoon, September 16, 2012 at 3pm.  The cost is $15 to make all three projects.  As always, space is limited, so please RSVP no later than 5pm on Friday, September 14th.  You can either email me at tabray@sbcglobal.net or call me.

Until next time, remember, if I can stamp, you can, too!

Summer is gone, Hello Holidays

Well, summer is over for 2012.  The kids are back in school and it will cool off soon.  It's time to thing about the holidays.  It will be Halloween before you can blink.  Another breath and it will be Thanksgiving and then the next day will be Christmas.  Time to start working on those great projects for Halloween Treats, Thanksgiving Table Decor and Christmas everything.

Here is a Christmas Ornament I made the other day.  It was a lot of fun to make.  I'm hoping to have enough interest to teach a class.  Let me know if this is something that might interest you.  This class would be $55 but you would take home with you, a completed ornament, the Ornament Keepsakes stampset (clear-add'l $7 for woodmount), Holiday Ornament Framelits, 1 pk Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons, and 1 pk Large Pearl Basic Jewels as well as the knowledge of how to make the ornament.  The product alone is valued at over $50!

I hope you enjoyed the photo.  Until next time, remember, if I can stamp, you can, too!
