Sunday Afternoon and Blog Candy

I told you I'd let you know what my sister and I were up to yesterday afternoon. She came over and we (she, me and DD) stamped and talked and ate and stamped and laughed. It was a lot of fun!

Sis was tired of the boring ugly white showing when her work ID flipped over, SO....she created this insert to go behind her ID in the plastic holder. Isn't it gorgeous? It makes me wish my
work ID was in a pouch. However, I have to swipe mine to get through doors, so no pouch. :(

DD was working on valentines to take to her friends at school. I admit I did help her a bit, but she chose colors and worked really hard on these great candy treats. She and I took turns running the cardstock through the Big Shot with the Matchbox Die. She assembled all the bases and I punched hearts out of the sliding cover. She put the candy in and put the cover on. I think she did a great job, don't you?!?

I spent part of my time working on a project that is not quite finished. I'm going to tease you with a sneak peek. Can you guess what I'm using to make it? Here's the deal. Name 3 Stampin' Up! items from this photo and I'll put your name in a drawing for my very first Blog Candy! Just leave a comment with your guess and I'll pick and post a winner on Thursday night 2/12/10! All the names will go into a bowl and DD will draw one out randomly. Good luck!

Edited to change drawing date. I said I would draw a winner for the blog candy on Thursday 2/12/10, well, Thurdsay is actually 2/11/10 and THAT is when I will draw. Sorry for any confusion! Have a stamping good week.

I'm going to guess:

1) Sending Love DSP
2) Big Shot (to cut the)
3) Alphabet Die (the actual name of it escapes me at the moment).
4) Maybe a new heart chipboard book
5) Some sort of adhesive (my guess is Sticky Strip for the letter and Tombow for the dsp)

I know that's more than 3, but since I'm not positive on a few, I figured I'd guess some extra :)

Thanks for offering the blog candy. It was fun trying to guess what you used.

Serif Essentials "M", Sending Love DSP, Big Shot, Sticky Strip are my guesses. I love what you all three have done. I can't put anything on the back of my badge either since I also use it to swipe into doors. What I have done is put a pouch behind it with my Roscoe's (the swap eating dog)pic in it. Then I decorated the back of it. It really helps the kids when they are afraid of the nurse. They always love the pic of the dog. Some parents don't remember my name but they remember my dog's name. Maybe you can do that.
